Pet care experience
Growing up my family always had 2-3 dogs and they really included us kids in the process of training them. I had developed a love for animals at a very young age and to this day will ask to pet almost every dog I see in public. I am very comfortable being around and taking care of dogs of all sizes as well as cats, and any other pets you may have. I am currently working at a dog daycare part time so am around dogs almost every day! 😍

I always ensure that I have any animal secured prior to opening any points of entry/exit so that even the best escape artists cannot get away! I also make sure prior to leaving any residence that the animal(s) has/have an adequate water supply as well as food, if requested. In addition to what is requested, prior to departing the residence I usually do a quick clean up of dog/cat toys, clean food/water bowls with soap and water, and fold any pup blankets/couch blankets too.

Some information that I would like to know: Are there any trails/paths that your animal loves to go on? Does your animal need to be fed prior to my departure? Is your animal good around other animals/people (in case come into contact during walk)? Does your animal have any allergies? When house sitting, what is your animal's routine like? A typical day
Sniffari’s (a walk while letting their nose guide the way/taking time to let them sniff) are one of my favorite thing to do with pups that I watch! It allows them to be mentally stimulated after possibly being cooped up for a few hours or more which only helps in tiring them out. An activity that I do with my dog is a scavenger hunt for his lunch/dinner as well as enrichment purposes as needed. If I know a dog will practically inhale their food I will often bring either a slow feeder bowl/kibble dispensing toy with me (with the owner’s permission) to help slow them down especially if it is right before/after we exercise.

Although I work part time my schedule is fairly flexible which allows me to accommodate most requests throughout the day whether it be walking, house sitting, or even drop in visits! I always will let you know my schedule up front too, to make sure we are on the same page with expectations 🙂
