I've had fur babies for as long as I can remember. The well being of animals has always been a passion & priority to me. I've been in the Vet field for 8 years combined. I did most of my pet sitting when I worked in Marin & have not gotten back into it until now. I've worked at Abbey Pet Hospital for a little over 5 years now & see that there is a growing need for the service & care here in the East Bay.

Maitexa was amazing with my rescue Cattle Dog! I was very nervous because she is normally super picky with people, but they got on so well! She was very thoughtful with her initial questions, organized several meetings to get more comfortable with her and before I knew it, they were the best of friends. She even bought Bailey toys and treats during the time I was gone. Messages and videos I got from her were hilarious and goofy!
I have known Maitexa for a long time. Through the years she has shown me what it really means to be a pet lover. No matter what is going on in her own life, she always prioritizes the wellbeing of the animals in her care. She has dogs of her own, and by the smiles that are always on there faces, you know they are happy dogs. She is ever vigilant in paying attention to her dogs physical and mental health. I cannot think of a better person to look after any animal in need. Whether that be for some exercise or some companionship when their pet parents are away. She is the perfect person for the task.
Maitexa is my wife and she has one of the biggest hearts. She loves animals and puts so much thought and effort in caring not only for our dogs but any other animal. She works at Abbey Pet Hospital where she is beloved by many and really tries to make a difference. She is always loving and I know your animal will be in great hands with Maitexa.

A typical day
My dogs love point Pinole for walks. It's beautiful and quiet. Dog parks. Bosqo loved the one in Albany. Whatever your fur baby needs I'm game. I do love a big old couch potato. Nothing like snuggles. Pictures, I love taking pictures of these love bugs & am happy to text them with a little update.

Availability
I work full time as a Lead CSR @ Abbey Pet Hospital (four ten hour shifts) Wednesday through Saturday. I have hour long lunches so as long as you're local I'm able to get your fur babies out for a short walk, fed, and medicated if need be.
