Hello! I'm Maisy and I have been dog walking + sitting on Rover for over 5 years now as well as 15+ years looking after dogs at home. I have plenty of availability for sitting/walking as my job in design enables me great flexible working hours. There is nothing I enjoy more than the company of dogs, whether it’s chilling at home or out playing in parks. I am confident in taking responsibility for other people's dogs and experienced when it comes to making a dog feel welcome and comfortable in a new environment, particularly after taking in many rescue dogs at home. Using Rover I have been looking after a wide variety of dogs. I’ve taken care of 5 wonderful rescue Greyhounds on a regular basis, a Labradoodle and two German Shepherds. Lately I have been looking after a lovely Staffordshire Terrier rescue on a regular basis for weekly walks and overnight stays. I have also been regularly walking + looking after a puppy Whippet and British Bull Dog. I enjoy long walks, mostly in Hackney Marshes as it is just on my doorstep. As well as the Olympic Park, Hackney Marshes and Victoria Park. I am more than happy to travel further than East if this is more convenient for you. I am experienced in caring and looking after dogs especially bigger ones. Maisy dog sat our rescue staffie Soni on numerous occasions. She absolutely loved Maisy and we always felt totally at ease leaving her. Maisy is dependable, trustworthy and clearly adores spending time with dogs, in the summer she would be out all day with Soni sending pics and routes as she went. Would 100% recommend.
Maisy had my greyhound, Bella, for several hours whilst I went into Glasgow for a conference. Bella must have had a great time as she slept for the entire 3 hour journey back home. Very lovely and welcoming and obviously gets on wonderfully with dogs. Thanks Maisy!
We love Maisy! She could not have been nicer or more accommodating and I'm not sure Jeeves will be happy just with my company any more! No, really, he was very content and that is all I want from someone who is looking after him. She kept me up to date with what they were up to, looked after him well and was obviously experienced, kind and gentle. I would highly recommend Maisy as a trustworthy, reliable, friendly and experienced person to be with your dog whether walking, visiting or sitting. Jeeves can't wait for his next visit. Please let me know any info regarding: -meal times/toilet breaks routine - sleeping routine - favourite games/toys - commands - preferences with allowing on sofa/bed - particular preferences with regards to training - medication - usual walk lengths/time - lead preferences - relationships with other dogs/breeds, friendly with humans
A typical day
Activities include: park walks, play, fetch, relax, pampering, unlimited fuss! Every dog owner will receive photo and behaviour updates by preferred method; over text or on Rover. Attention to specific individual needs; whether the dog is elderly and needs a rest, young and needs to play all day or special needs. I will pay close attention to make sure the dog has the best experience they can have.
