Animal behaviour BSC(hons) with a love for all pet
Pet care experience
I was 16 and I started working at a dog day care doing training, but I wanted to expand my knowledge and have just completed an animal behaviour degree from university. For the past year I’ve worked at a rehabilitation centre helping dogs through hydrotherapy and physiotherapy treatments. I have dogs if my own and know how special and important they can be, if you want to know more about my story with my dogs drop me a message I’ve currently work at pet blood bank, I am available every other Monday, every Wednesday and Friday and every other weekend. Positive reinforcement and fear free is the only way I work with dogs, for dog walking I know many routes around Leicester and for house sitting it’s your house so it’s your rules
Reviews
Loved having someone trustworthy and knowledgeable coming in to my home to look after my pup. It was a big step to take and I warmed to Maisy straight away as did Milo. Thank you
Maisy is a wonder my puppy Dolly absolutely loves her. She has been a godsend helping me with training and walking Dolly. I work shifts so having maisy to walk Dolly or stay over night with her gives me peace of mind knowing she is being loved and fussed. Maisys knowledge of behaviour is exceptional as well as being kind caring and gentle. Would 100% recommend her we'd be lost without her.
Maisy is excellent with handling dogs. She has previously worked in a doggy day care and has also worked in rehabilitation. Because of this she is great with dogs with a wide range of personalities and their own difficulties. She loves animals and always goes the extra mile to do as much for them as possible.
Maisy has cared for our dogs ( along with many others ) for nearly three years. She knows everything ‘dog’ and has recently achieved a Bsc Hons in animal behaviour. She is safe, professional, gentle, hugely knowledgeable, trustworthy and I wouldn’t hesitate to to endorse her ability in this roll. Maisy lives and breaths dogs and animals in general. She is hugely skilled at reading their behaviour and characteristics and picks up on traits even us beloved pet owners can’t see. With all that being said she is also very mindful of the basic care all animals need to be healthy, happy and safe. Highly recommended

Safety, trust & environment
Positive reinforcement, safety and communication are my top priorities when looking after your dog. I provide treats and poo bags for walks, unless they have other dietary requirements. I will send lots of pictures and videos of your dog enjoying their time with me to put your mind at ease!
Information Maisy H. would like to know about your pet
Breed, sex, age, neutered status, favourite treats, favourite toys, medical history, obedience levels / training levels, energy levels, dietary requirements, preferences for walk areas and touch preferences
A typical day
I love to mentally stimulate dogs, using scent games and other activities like puzzles. Walking in all weathers is not a problem for me so your dog will always get their physical needs met. My favourite place in Leicester to take dogs in Aylestone meadows, it’s large with lots of different routes so each walk can feel different for your dog.
