It’s super important to me that doggos and kitties feel as comfortable and safe as possible when their owners are away (and that the owners feel that way too). I understand the stress of leaving your pets at home with a new caretaker. I've cared for animals with: separation anxiety, medication, inhaler, and injection needs, extremely active lifestyles, mobility restrictions, senior dogs, and more. I'll ensure they get their walks, pats, snuggles, medicine, and whatever else they need.

Having recently relocated to Anchorage, I was looking for a pet sitter and walker for my two large dogs. Maia has been absolutely wonderful. She is responsible, communicative, and great with the dogs (also really understanding of their odd quirks and behaviors). She always sends lots of photos, which I really appreciate when I am away. I highly recommend Maia to anyone looking for a person who is great with both dogs and people!

A typical day
I enjoy going on long walks with dogs. I'm very familiar with the trail systems Anchorage. My favorite spots are Far North Bicentennial, Prospect Heights, Basher, Glen Alps and Whisper Faith Kovach Park. When on walks, I play music and keep a good eye out for moose, bears, and other dogs. Happy to play fetch, tug of war, and fun games!

Availability
I'm most available M-F in the mornings, around noon, or after 6pm. I'm quite available on weekends as well. My schedule is flexible so feel free to ask and we will try to work something out. I make sure to have as much info about care, emergencies, etc, as possible before the pet is entrusted to me. I am super communicative - happy to send pictures and updates every day and I will NEVER hesitate to ask you questions or communicate in the case of a concern or emergency.
