Pet care experience
I grew up with two dogs, one very high maintenance (a Shiba Inu) and the other the complete opposite (A chocolate Lab.) I am good at taking care of elderly dogs who need a little extra help or with young energetic dogs who needs more exercise. I worked as a dog walker over the summer of 2015 for a company called Wag. I am a very active person who loves dogs and I believe animals are one of the greatest gifts that we have. I currently do not live with any dogs so dog sitting is how I fill that void. The presence of a dog, to me, brings life to the house, and every day life. I mentioned earlier that I am an active person and being able to take a dog on walks makes my day 100% better. I am up for anything, whether your dog likes walking down the street, going to the park, or playing at home. My priority is your dogs happiness.

Maia's incredible - reliable, super sweet, and was wonderful with our 2 dogs. She took great care of our apartment while we were gone, and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend her! Hope you can watch Milo and Zoe again in the future!

We hired Maia to sit for our little girl multiple times before our upcoming big summer trip -- she was fine; and we tipped her well. A month ago before our travel, we made an arrangement where she committed to sitting for Donut during our upcoming trip. I stressed it is critical to have a committed sitter since we will be gone for 2+-weeks; and it requires longer lead time to secure sitters in the busy summer. I took extra step to ensure she would be compensated nicely. She promised that we could count on her; so I booked her on Rover.com; she accepted it. Less then 2-weeks before our travel, she bailed & said she could make more money by taking other gigs. It totally screwed us. Out of desperation, we have been asking Rover, neighbors, and friends for help but no luck yet given Donut's separation anxiety issue; and sitters get booked up weeks ahead in summer (many suitable candiates are unavaiable during our time window). So, we may have to postpone our long planned trip, which will be disappointing and costly.
