I’ve been a dog lover since I was about 2 years old, and I’ve cared for and trained my own dog independently for the past four years. It’s been a bit of a learning curve but doing this independently has taught me what things work and don’t work with most dogs! My parents never let me have a dog growing up, so it’s given me a deeper appreciation for dogs now that I’m an adult. I’m available most nights and weekends. I work as a music therapist during the day so there will be lots of music in the house when I am home. Unfortunately this means if your dog is sensitive to noise and instruments this may not be the best house for them. I do ask that if you would like me to take in a dog in my own home that they be friendly with other dogs, because I have a 50 lb male black lab of my own.
