I am a traveler, healer-type, and committed friend to animals and people alike. In the fall of 2016, I returned to this area following a 10-month journey that took me, one other human, his dog and my adventure cat on an overland journey of 13,000 miles, plus a flight to France and back. I've historically been more of a Cat Person (loving other people's dogs on the side whenever the opportunity arose), but living in such close quarters with an enormous hound, and dealing with unexpected situations on the regular, taught me a real thing or two about dogs! I've been putting those skills to good use serving animals and their owners in Woodland, Davis, Sacramento and wherever else I turn up. Over the years I have lived with and loved all sorts of dogs and cats (and other creatures), and have experience caring for different breeds, temperaments, and age groups. I am a calm, responsible person, capable of handling challenging situations and commanding the affection, attention and respect of your animal. I also give the best pet-massages, and have recently completed my education to work with small animals in a rehabilitative capacity. I am dedicated to growing my hands-on touch experience and knowledge in support of the physical and emotional wellness of animals, and am currently offering my therapeutic services professionally. I look forward to hearing from you! About my services: I strive to offer the best care possible, in hopes that your pets will hardly notice you were away! To me this entails understanding their needs and routines, finding ways to challenge and amuse them, and bonding through touch, quality time and humor. I work full-time caring for local pets, and build my schedule around the needs of my customers. While I always do my best to accept last-minute bookings, it really helps if you plan ahead! My rates for house-sitting go by 24-hour periods. So, if your schedule requires that I get started early on Friday, but you will not return until after dinnertime on Monday, I request a partial day fee depending on the needs of your animal(s) on the final day. I work this out on a per-client basis, so please let me know about your expected departure and arrival times in your request!
