Pet care experience
I have been taking care of dogs and cats since I was 5. I have watched family, and friends cats and dogs. I have dog sat a friend's dog for weeks at a time while she goes on business trips, I watch my sister's three cats when she goes out of town, and I care for and walk my friend's dogs for fun. I feel that I can easily read animals such as when they are hungry, need to go to the bathroom, thirsty, or want to play and cater to their needs! I had a family dog I grew up with that lived to be 15 yeas old.

When I leave town, Maggie is my go-to sitter for my needy and loving cat Hazel. Hazel has a routine and prefers for it to continue even in my absence and Maggie makes that happen. When I return from being away, I can usually tell whether someone has taken good care of my Hazel or not. This includes fresh food at her meal time, fresh water, playing, scooped litter, cuddles, and lots of head scratches (lots.). I always am pleased by how my home looks upon my return when Maggie is in charge, I usually give her an extra tip when she takes extra steps such as brushing Hazel or sweeping the crumbs of litter that fall out of the box after it is used. 10/10 recommend!

I do not have any pets of my own at the moment, but my family and friends do. To care for these pets and keep them safe I always carry extra treats, food, doggie bags, or anything that is necessary to ensure the best care for the animal I am watching. I have experience with caring for small, and large dogs as well as puppies/kitties and elderly animals as well! I will give each animal a lot of love, energy, attention and care!

Information that is important for me to know is if your animal bites, and what might trigger them to do so. I am very good with animals even ones that bite, but it is important I am aware of your animals behaviors ahead of time. I have a calm energy and have never had a bad experience with animals.
A typical day
I love to ensure that your animals will be stimulated and have lots of time to play and exercise! I love to walk animals around local parks or dog parks for them to be able to play with a lot of space. I also love taking dogs for walks around their neighborhood so they are in a familiar place. With cats or dogs I make sure to give them what they need whether it be pets, a walk, or playing with them.

Availability
I work from home and have flexible hours. I am available in the mornings and mid afternoons. I am an active person and love to go on walks and read at the park. Pet care fits into my routine by having time in-between wfm meetings where I can give your pet all the attention it needs while you are away.
