Flexible, reliable, experienced!

Pet care experience

With lots of experience caring for animals, I am here to make sure your furry friends get the best care while you're away! Having grown up in an animal loving family, pets have always been a big part of my life! I’ve helped care for dogs of all breeds and ages - think toy poodle to golden-doodle and lots in between! I've cared for several dogs with less than perfect behavioral tendencies, whether that be leash reactivity, barking, or other issues, and am not afraid to take on more challenging pets. In addition to the animals that have been part of my family, I have lots of experience with overnight boarding, house sitting and dog walking. I'm super active and love to go for long walks and runs and will make sure your pets get lots of outdoor time and mental stimulation. I love caring for animals and would love to meet yours! Please reach out and let me know what services I can provide!

Maggie was amazing with our challenging to walk in the city dog who she boarded for a few days in her home. She was communicative during the entire stay keeping me updated on how things were going and sending great pics. She’s also just personable and easy to talk to. Georgia’s tail was also happy on drop off and pick up - a great indication of a well-cared for pup. Thank you, Maggie!

Maggie is very communicative and kind to our cats! She goes above and beyond, even vacuuming our rug after the cats got litter all over. We will definitely book with Maggie again!

Maggie was great with my anxious dog. She was definitely attuned to behavior and took good care of him.

A typical day

I always ensure that any dog I’m sitting gets plenty of time outdoors and enough stimulation to be tired out by the end of the day. I love walking and running and enjoy it even more when I have a dog with me.

I currently work an 8AM-4:30PM schedule (in the office 50% of the time) and bartend on the side. My bartending job is seasonal, from the months of April to October (I work baseball games at Nationals Park). During this time I work my regular day job and then head to the stadium for my evening shifts. My bartending schedule is such that I typically have a full week (7-8 days) on followed by a week off (when the Nats are out of town). If you catch me on an off week I will have much more flexibility to care for your pets. If I am bartending I will be available for drop-ins and walks but will not be able to board or house sit as I will be at work for long stretches. Scheduling will be reflected on my calendar. Please reach out if you have any questions!
