GREAT WITH DOGS
Pet care experience
Hi, my name is Maggie. I am a US Military Veteran - GO Army. I love dogs and I’m willing to watch your dog in my home. I have a very friendly Pitt mix. She loves to run around in the yard and play in the kiddie pool. My dog Goose is a S.T.A.R. Puppy - certified by the AKC. I also volunteer with Jersey Pit Rescue and foster puppies for them on short notice, usually from dire situations. I enjoy working with and training dogs so if they are with me they are likely to get some basic obedience training or may learn a trick or two. Please do not hesitate to reach out to me with any questions you may have. We can also set up an initial visit at my home that allows me to assess, ensure a good fit, and put you at ease. I have a fenced yard that they will spend as much time in as they want while we are home. They will get 1 walk a day. They eat separately - always. On weekends we change it up and hike or walk in new places to gives the dogs new scents and scenery.
Information Maggie V. would like to know about your pet
I would like to be sure that dogs have and are wearing their rabies tag as well as an ID tag. License tag from their town would be nice but not necessary.
A typical day
Long walks with leash skills being taught or reinforced. Pack walks are good training opportunities and very stimulating for the dogs. On weekends we mix it up with new places for a change in scents and scenery. Plenty of yard play whenever they want while we are home.

Availability
I work a varied schedule with overtime options. My wife works days as well. So the dogs will be home during the day and we can (at times) drop in at lunch time, as needed. My daughter is in college and is in and out throughout the day. We walk in the evenings during the week and we go to various places on weekends to walk and give them a change of scenery.
