My name is Maggie and I am an athletic trainer by trade but a pet lover by heart. I was raised in Morgantown, WV and had a German Shepherd as well as 10+ cats that were part of a feral colony in the woods behind our house which we did TNR to help control. I was the primary caretaker for my dog Scout and became comfortable administering medications when she became ill later in life. My favorite times with Scout were our long hikes in the woods, so I love a dog willing to adventure. During undergrad my best friend and roommate had a chihuahua named Sammie who I lived with and helped care for. She was a sweet lazy bean who loved to lay on the couch and patrol the floor for food crumbs. I have also volunteered many times at animal shelters assisting with feeding, cleaning, walking, and playing with the animals. Overall, I have experience with varying sizes and personalities of dogs, and will gladly do whatever activities your pup loves most!
