Previous owner of The Ruff Life, LLC - experienced pet care professional with over 15 years experience providing exceptional care for your four-legged friends. I have two dogs of my own that are genuinely my children. Happy, my one-eyed rescue pup, and Dexter, our sweet little Bugg (boston terrier & pug mix). I have a natural ability to connect and communicate with animals, and have always put their safety and wellbeing first. Whoever said diamond's were a girls best friend clearly didn't own a dog :) True believer that they're not "Just a dog" or "Just a cat" - they are our family and deserve to be treated that way. There are very few people I would trust with my dog, Grady, and Maggie is one of them. She truly cares about everyone's dog as her own and she is always my first choice. I have struggled for awhile between doggie day care, the vet and other various avenues when in need of someone to look after Grady while I am traveling or working long hours. I hadn't found any solutions where I felt Grady was 100% comfortable with anyone other than my own family until I started using Maggie. She is reliable, responsible, professional and one of the most caring people I have ever met. I can tell Grady is geuinely excited to see her and it is so comforting to know that he is in good hands whenever he's with her. I give Maggie my highest recommendation to anyone looking for a caretaker for their dog, she is hands down the best there is!
I thought I was the biggest dog lover before meeting Maggie. Maggie has watched over my Stella for several years now. Whenever I leave Stella with Maggie I know that my dog is in good hands!! Although I know Maggie spoils Stella with countless walks and lets her sneak into bed : ) Maggie is truly a dog lover and will take care of your dog as if it is her own!

A typical day
When caring for other people's pets, I treat the animals as if they were my own. I have a genuine love for dogs (as well as all animals!) and LOVE the time I get to spend with my furry best friends. My dog-sitting style includes walks everyday (the time/distance is based on your preference - whatever you need, I can do!). If I am not working at the hospital, I usually spend as much time as possible with the dogs I care for - whether it be working from home and taking breaks to play and walk, or bringing them with me if I go to run errands (my bulldog client, Ellie, LOVES to ride anywhere in the car with me!). I make sure that each day is filled with belly rubs, ear scratches, and lots of kisses! When it comes to sleeping - I am a big fan of cuddling up with the dogs I babysit and allowing them to sleep with me (again, depending on your preference of where the dog sleeps!). I guarantee that you won't regret choosing me to care for your dogs!
