I have professional experience working with a wide variety of animals as a dairy farmhand, kennel technician, dog trainer, and veterinary technician. My experience working at a doggy daycare has taught me how to manage large groups and make sure that play is fun and safe for everyone! My clinical experience as a vet tech has prepared me to work with elderly and special needs pets who may need extra care and attention. I currently volunteer with dogs at a local shelter and work part-time as a dog trainer. I am hoping to become a certified professional dog trainer (CPDT) in the near future!

Maggie is terrific! She took care of my dog as though he were her own. He had a great time on the big farm and honestly may be a bit disappointed to be back at our boring house. Maggie juggled the many special needs my dog has easily. If you really love your dog and you worry about boarding them, rest assured they are in excellent hands with Maggie.
So many play friends for Trooper to meet! Love seeing my boy get to socialize! Theres a definite bonus with Maggie being a doggy daycare lady!!!

Wags With Mags LLC is registered with the state of New Hampshire and is bonded and insured through the Business Insurers of the Carolinas. I am also a member of Pet Sitters International. I'm an experienced and trustworthy pet care provider and I always treat my clients homes with the same care and respect that I do their pets! I understand that some people aren’t comfortable with having someone come into their home and I am happy to provide references upon request. I provide all of my clients with frequent "pupdates" including photos or videos of their pet. I do my best to respond promptly if you have any questions or concerns.

I require all prospective new clients to schedule a complimentary meet and greet so that I can get to know you and your pet in person! Please let me know ahead of time if your dog has any special needs, medical conditions, allergies, or behavioral concerns. I am happy to work with your dog on problem behaviors, crate training, house training, basic obedience, leash skills or other life skills upon request. If you have any special requests or specific care instructions for your pet during their visit, I am more than happy to accommodate. I’d love to know more about your dogs preferences, favorite snacks, play style, and activity level so that I can provide your pet with the best possible care!
A typical day
A typical visit includes a walk around the neighborhood or playtime in the yard depending on your dogs preferences. Visits also include feeding or treats and plenty of fresh water. I am also happy to administer any medications that your pet might require and I will always do my best to adapt to any special needs that your pet might have. When I'm working with your dog they will have my full and undivided attention! Your pets safety is my number one priority and I will never allow other people or pets to approach your dog while in my care. I tailor each visit to your individual dog and I do my best to provide each pet with an enriching experience whether that means taking a long walk in the woods, playing with their favorite toy in the yard or giving them treats and belly rubs!

Availability
I'm working part-time with a flexible schedule so I will have plenty of time and attention to devote to your pup throughout the week. I work from 4PM-8PM on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings but aside from that I have full availability for walks and drop-in visits during the week! Due to a high demand for housesitting services, I no longer offer weekly walks or drop-in visits on weekends. I don't typically offer early morning visits before 7:30am but will sometimes make exceptions to this rule for clients who live nearby on a case-by-case basis.
