While I grew up around dogs my entire life, I first started taking care of them in college when I walked, fed, and helped potty train my roommate’s terrier. I then moved into a small neighborhood which had many dogs in it, including two I lived with, a pit bull and cocker spaniel. While I was not it’s owner, I was one of the main care takers of the pit bull and helped out with the spaniel as well, taking them on walks, feeding them and playing with them daily. These past few years I have done daily pet sittings for my friend’s dog, which include taking him to the dog park by my place, feeding him and playing with him. I have also had the experience of watching over a blind and deaf dog, so I know that sometimes all they need is to be cuddled and / or know someone is there for reassurance. I’m currently working part time, so I’ll have plenty of time to play with your fur babies! I usually work 4-5 hr shifts during the week and get off around 5pm. During our meet and greets, as we go over how you would like me to care for your fur baby, I will always pay close attention to those notes and stick to them. Making sure they are cared for and kept safe in the way in which you want them to be is my number one priority.
