This review is totally overdue as Maggie watched our dog Charlie back in late Oct. 2021 and I realized recently I never wrote one. Our circumstances were quite unique: we were looking for someone to watch him on our wedding day who was able to pick him up from the wedding venue (we wanted him in some photos before the ceremony) and then take care of him in their home as we no longer were based in Philly. As a result, we needed someone who either had access to a car or was willing to do Uber Pet, which we'd cover. After getting canceled by two other sitters for unforeseen extenuating circumstances, I reached out to Maggie the day before we were planning to visit Philly to wrap up some wedding things the month before as that weekend was our only opportunity to do a meet and greet. Thankfully, she not only responded quickly, but was totally down to take on this unique gig and meet us that weekend, and of course she seemed like a great fit: reliable, nice, and competent. Overall she did a great job watching him and we would definitely recommend her as a dog sitter. Charlie can be a bit high maintenance due to some anxiety issues, but his time with her seemed to go smoothly. Moreover, she not only made sure to pick him up in the specific window before the ceremony started, but also was generally flexible and although we usually love getting all the photo updates, she only sent us a few per our request since we wanted to enjoy our wedding.

Maggie was an amazing sitter for Bucky during a long weekend trip. From our initial conversation to pickup, communication was excellent. She was responsive and sent multiple daily pictures/videos. We were able to enjoy our trip with peace of mind knowing that he was in capable hands. So grateful for having found Maggie and would rebook her again in the future without hesitation. I’d highly recommend her if you’re looking for a caring, knowledgeable sitter!
