Pet care experience
Besides growing up with Labs including 3 litters and helping out friends with their pups over the years, I have been doing Rover solid since Jan 2021. We really love dogs and genuinely enjoy taking care of them. We board dogs with low to moderate energy, smaller to medium in size, hypoallergenic and good in nature. Though we love so many different dogs, these are what we have found work best here. I am also a runner and can offer runs or walks from your home for any dogs in need of getting more exercise, as well.

Maggie was terrific. We left Delilah overnight for the first time after losing her partner and Maggie took such great care of her even though she had a lot going on. She gave her the attention she needed to feel at home. We booked her for our next trip. Thanks Maggie.

I have a fenced yard, it’s large enough they can get some good exercise in. My home is very pet friendly. I give them dog massages and cuddles often. I can brush them if needed. I make sure their water is clean and clean their bowls. I give the dogs baths as needed.

It is important your dog is friendly with kids and other dogs. We usually have 1-2 dogs, occasionally 3. Also, we can’t take heavy barkers because we want to keep our neighbors happy. It’s important your dog is fully potty trained and won’t mark in the home.
A typical day
Morning snuggles! Throwing the ball or frisbee for those that like fetch. Walks in the neighborhood or up along Skagit River. Treat time. Cuddles, scratches and love is plentiful! Pup cup at Starbucks drive through occasionally if allowed. Relaxation time to balance it all out.

Availability
I am home based. I drop my son off at school at 9:10am M-F. (pick up 3:30). I make sure the dogs get their exercise, are fed, feel loved and get play time if needed. We love the dog park down the street. *I am always smart and cautious about other dogs around and will never let your dog off a leash unless fully fenced and safe. When in doubt of other dogs at the park we just walk and play in my backyard.
