Hi, my name is Maggie! I have been a dog lover for as long as I can remember. Growing up as the neighborhood babysitter, I have cared for dogs of all sizes from and all ages. This sparked my initial interest in working with animals, and inspired me to seek out volunteer opportunities through shelters once I entered college. A few years later and I have finally had the opportunity to rescue one of my own! I have the pleasure of learning from her everyday, and find great joy in watching as she grows! As a special education teacher, I have learned the art of patience. I work as a 3-4 grade life skills teacher, which has taught me more about how to be a patient and caring leader than I could have ever imagined. I can immediately apply all that I have learned as a teacher to how I act as a dog owner. I love to care for dogs of all sizes, and all abilities As a lover of the outdoors, I love to go on long walks, taking as many sniffing breaks as my furry friend may need. I could spend hour shower outside playing fetch, and then spend the rest of the day indoors cuddled up! I am willing to do anything necessary to take exceedingly excellent care of your loved pet, while ensuring your nerves are at ease the entire time.
