Hi there! I grew up with four dogs and four cats and have loved every moment with them! I also worked at a dog boarding company (Camp Bow Wow) when I was in high school and have done on and off pet sitting and walking for about ten years now. I love working with animals because learning their personalities, quirks, likes, and dislikes are always fun, and I can quickly bond with them. Working with animals should be more than walking - I want to learn the pet's favorite walking or running route; if they have a favorite game or toy, or if they are a pet that just wants to be pet, I'm there for it.

I have experience working with older dogs/cats and puppies/kittens - so I'm familiar with if the pet needs certain medications at specific times or if the puppy pads need to be changed. Or if the pet needs assistance walking or playing - I'm down to go at whatever pace they want.

The information that is the most important to me is how big your dog is, will there be more than one dog, the age, energy level, and if they are okay being around people and/or dogs. This way, I can accommodate activities for them.
A typical day
I am open to whatever the dog's preferences are - I've gone hiking, walking, running with dogs, as well as netflix or game marathons with them. If they want to go to a park and play ball, then I know some great parks around the area, or if they want to grab a treat and people watch, that's okay too!

Availability
I am currently a graduate student at American University, and the summers are when I have the most time to take care of pets or fur babies. I will do my best to work around your schedules, but tentatively I'm available Sunday-Saturday 7 am-6 pm.
