Pet care experience
I was raised with dogs in a city setting (San Francisco to be precise), and I understand how handle dogs who like to keep their paws on the urban setting of sidewalks vs. dogs who want to romp and run in parks. Growing up, every dog in my household has always been considered a member of the family, maybe more often the preferred one. I've dog-walked and dog-sat a husky (Nusia), a greyhound mix (Pedro), and senior Boston terrier (Woody) -- all in Manhattan -- and Wyeth a Staffy mix as a 5 mo. old in DC. Currently I also take part in occasional walking and care-taking for my parents' Sheltie, Sylvia, who currently holds the key to my heart. Any dog in my care will get the love and attention he or she deserves!
