Pet care experience
I grew up with my family’s dog, Oliver, who is a Jack Russell terrier beagle mix. My family relied on me to take Oliver in walks, feed him, and give him all the love! This has prepared me to be the caregiver to my 3 year old foxhound named Hazel. I take her in a morning and nightly walk that consists of 2 miles each trip. We go in hikes, River walks, to the dog park, and on adventures around town together. I make sure that she eats breakfast and dinner, has a fresh full bowl of water, and that she is tucked snuggly into her blankets for bedtime! I will bring this same love I have for my girl to your baby.

Maggie watched my 3-year-old hound dog, and it couldn't have gone better. She took out Ruthie in the morning, afternoon, and night, always sending me pictures. She followed my requests exactly as I asked her to and went above and beyond what was expected of her. She is super responsive, friendly, and treats your dog like it's her own. She is punctual and committed to showing up which is why I will be using her services again whenever I have to go away for work!

Hazel’s daily routine consists of waking up and getting a short walk to go pee and poop. When she gets back in, she gets breakfast and water and goes back to sleep for a little until I get changed to take her to the park. When we get to the park, we will walk/run the river trail at Darden! I then bring her back home and get her frozen peanut butter kong from the freezer and let her outside to enjoy! I’ll play with her throughout the day by throwing a tennis ball for her to play fetch or play tug of war with her. By 3:30, we are getting ready to go back outside on a hike, walk, or to the dog park. She will have an hour outside and then get home to have dinner at 4:30. After that, she winds down and drifts off to puppy dreamland!

Please let me know any and all things behavior-related with your dog! This helps me be aware of their needs and cater to them in the best way. Also, please let me know if your pup struggles with separation anxiety because I have some tricks up my sleeve for that! Please share anything that you believe is important :)

Your pup(s) will go on hikes at Mint Springs, runs around Darden Towe, stroll around Greenbrier, and go to Starbucks for a pup cup, with your permission!

Availability
I’m a full-time language arts teacher which makes weekends best for me. I plan to expand my availability once summer comes, so I hope to get some relationships built before that time! I am available starting in Fridays after 4:00pm until 8:00pm on Sundays. I am also flexible and would be open to working something more fitting to your schedule out if need be :)
