I’ll treat your dog like my own!
Pet care experience
I’m a student at UGA, and I love dogs more than people sometimes. Unfortunately, the house I’m living in currently doesn’t allow pets, but I still want to be around them! I spent my whole life caring for dogs, as most of my extended family has dogs, and my brother and sister-in-law have two dogs (a golden and a new Boykin Spaniel puppy). I have house-sat, done drop-ins, and walked for them on numerous occasions. If your dog needs activity, I love to run and walk around Athens. If he or she just needs some love, I can do that too. Furthermore, I love pretty much all types of dogs, and I’m comfortable with all sizes. The bigger the better actually!! My schedule is very available as long as I have advance notice because of classes. I hope to play with your dogs soon!!

I can't say enough good things about Maggie! She has watched our dogs for the past 2 years, and they absolutely love her! I wouldn't want anyone else to take care of them. I would like to know how he or she reacts to strangers (both humans and other dogs). I would also like to know if there’s anything you are currently working on with them (a trick, a command, a boundary, etc. so I could help with that). Beyond those things, I’d just like to know how well trained they are, how much food and water they need, and what happens when they get tired of running or walking (or if they ever get tired!).
A typical day
We will go on walks around residential areas as well as parks. Some of my favorite parks are Memorial Park, Dudley Park, around Lake Herrick, and anywhere along the North Oconee River Greenway. I love to walk and run, so I can do either with your dog. Furthermore, I can take your dog to a leash-free park to socialize with other dogs! I also love throwing frisbees, tennis balls, etc. with dogs and would love to do that with yours.
