Pet care experience
Hi! I'm Magen and I'm a Licensed Veterinary Medical Technician with 14 years experience in specialized care and behavior. I have been pet sitting professionally for the last 5 years, including pets with special needs such as medications and post-operative care. Grooming services: bathing, sanitary clips, ear cleaning, nail trims, and anal gland expression. I know very well how stressful being away from your pet can be, but allowing your pet to stay at home while you are away brings peace of mind to everyone! Keeping pets and clients happy is my number one goal. Let your pet be the next that I get to make happy. My availability is flexible and can work out a plan that is right for you and your pet. I pet sit part time, but since I only keep 1 pet at a time I am able to take them to work with me so they are not left alone. I also have experience in puppy training with basic behaviors like sit, stay, down and settle as well as leash training using positive reinforcement techniques. For new puppies, I recommend a minimum of 1 session a week for a minimum of 6 weeks. My experience administering medication I have 13 years experience in the veterinary medicine field. I am very comfortable administering medications, whether they are given by mouth or by injection.

Magen was wonderful! I was in a bind when my previously booked sitter never came to check on my boy, Jack Jack while we were out of town. Magen was able to check on him on such short notice which was truly appreciated. She was really good at putting him at ease since he can be timid and gave him an abundance of butt scratches!
