Pet care experience
Hi there! My name is Magen and for me, animals make life better! Im from Chicago but I’m currently a college student at the University of Kansas working to become a social worker. I have always had a little companion by my side while growing up so pet care is nothing new to me. I have experience in all types of pets such as fish, reptiles, dogs (both small and large), cats, and small mammals! While at school, I currently care for a fish named Sheldon, but back home I help care for a princess of a Pomeranian and a quirky pekingese. I also help with my families furry friends which consist of a wild grey and snuggly orange tabby, pretty pit bull mix, and a super crazy golden retriever. My goal is to give out the same love and compassion that animals have to offer for us. I believe they are family, even if they look a little furry!

Magen did a great job watching over my dog and home. She followed all instructions, communicated throughout, and went above and beyond. I would certainly use her again!
Megan was great with our Odie. He is high energy and she kept him busy each day she was here and wore him out. She would play fetch with him, work on his training (i.e. sit, stay, come), pet him and give him lots of love. By the last day, Odie was watching out the window for her to get here. We are going to schedule her to come back whenever she is not away at college!! I highly recommend her services to for your pet! Thank you Megan!
Magen is a very kind hearted person. Recently, she had to help me with my dogs for about a month and she did a fantastic job. She showed my pups lots of attention and love and made sure to exercise them everyday. I would recommend her to everyone I know as a pet sitter.

Although I am unable to have animals in my current home, I’m aware that every fur baby has their own unique personality. Some walks might consist of a long jog while others might be a nice stroll around the block. Some check-ins might need some belly scratches while others need a game of tug and to let out those zoomies! Whatever the case, Im happy to provide any energy and loving ur little (or bug) buddy needs!

Some important information to know about a dog ahead of time is if they have any aggression towards specific things or animals so that I can be extra precautious of surroundings when they are outside. It’s also important for me to be aware of any medications or special needs one may have to make sure they are all properly met. I love all breeds and sizes!
A typical day
Every activity is different for every dog. Puzzle bowls are great for mental stimulation while fetch is great for exercise. I like to work around your dogs specific needs and wants!

I work a part time job so free time isn’t hard to come across. With that free time, I love to spend it outside! Whether it’s just laying out to enjoy the weather, or taking a hike by Clinton lake, any activity can be made better with a buddy by your side!
