Pet care experience
Helloooo! I go by Maggy, as Magdalena isn't easy for everyone :) I'm a pretty awesome, 7 year veterinary assistant veteran :D And of course about a 23 year old animal owner veteran (I've owned a pet, almost continuously since I was 3 years old). My first fur-baby, or I should say fur-brother, was a Rottie :) He made me fall in LOVE with all furry creatures. Although Rottweilers have remained, and likely will always be my favorite breed of furry <3. As of recently I'm not in the vet field so I thought Rover may be the perfect gig for all my experience. I know leaving your loved ones is HARD, period. But I hope it will bring you some peace of mind, knowing your fur baby/babies are being cared for by a knowledgeable, compassionate being. I may not be currently in the vet field, but I continuously sharpen my skills. Be it caring for my own ~5yr old Blue Russian kitty, or various client pets, who sure keep me on my toes :) Since I can remember, I've been nurturing pets whenever, wherever I could. There are no words that could convince you not to worry about leaving your beloved fur-children with a (for now) stranger Your pet will be in capable hands of a crazy ANIMAL lady :)

Maggy does a great job, goes above and beyond for my little bugs. I took my girl to the vet right before my trip and she needed a follow up visit while I was gone - Maggy took her for me and gave her extra TLC. She also sent a bunch of updates which helped while I was stressed out.
This is the second time I've booked with Maggy and felt very comfortable during my trip. She sent me photos and updates everyday, made sure both cats ate how much they needed to, gave all necessary meds, and I really was able to enjoy what I was doing knowing my babies were being taken care of.
I have 2 very high maintenance kitties, one of which has some medical issues, so when I decided to go on a family vacation, I knew Maggy was the right girl. She knows my kitties from the vet they go to, has great experience giving fluids and meds, and my cats knew her already. This being the first time leaving them after my little girl was diagnosed, I was so incredibly anxious that I cried. I believe that setting VERY CLEAR expectations with sitters is important, so I let Maggy know exactly what I was looking for, every detail of the care and communication I expected, and she didn't disappoint. She sent a ton of pictures with cute captions showing me she was there with them. She really took good care of them and by day two into my trip, I was completely relaxed.

*Most important information for me to know, are medical conditions. *Any medications, including supplements and/or medical treatments they need! *Allergies- which can be food and/or environmental (ex: eggs, evergreen trees. But MOST CRUCIAL are any medication allergies*). *Aggression- Towards other pets and/or humans. *Also, it'll be helpful if I know if they're on a diet.. Don't want to reverse any progress you've made :/ oor, contribute to overfeeding :p * And of course your fur-babie's favorite activities :)
A typical day
Your animal will be my top priority. I can take them places, if you allow & they wish. Such as: Alki, Kirkland water front, Discovery Park for hikes, or various dog parks to play. Play fetch with them, or whatever else they like to play :) Give them a ton of belly rubs- my personal favorite :) And, I'm sure their favorite- feed them lots of treats :)
