Pet care experience
Thank you so much for considering me to watch your sweet pets! My name is Magdalena and I am an avid lover of all animals. I have cared for pets for most of my life, starting with my love for horses at a young age. My incredible work ethic, patience, and devotion to animal care started with this love on my family’s farm and has continued to this day caring for your pets. I especially love larger dog breeds, as I grew up with Great Danes. You can see some photos on my profile with one in particular, Bob :) During the pandemic, I was a pet sitter full time. I rotated full time stays at clients’ homes as well as balanced drop in visits and walks with others. Most of my clients were military families in Clarksville who have since moved away, so I am very familiar with meeting new pets and starting new routines. Having just moved to Nashville, I am so excited to meet some new folks and new pets! As well as pictures of Bob, you can also see some photos with some of my favorite critters from Rover and other referrals over the years! I have a great deal of experience with senior dogs and cats, dogs and cats with medical conditions that require medication, and sick pets. My beloved German shepherd, Nova, passed from cancer in late 2021. Caring for her in the months before she passed was one of the greatest privileges of my life and for that reason I am always more than happy to care for a pet in need. I understand that life happens and there are situations where we can’t be with an ailing pet every single day as much as we desperately wish we could, so it is very important to have someone you can trust to watch them and love them while you are away. I take a lot of pride in being this person, so please feel free to let me know about any of these special circumstances. I have experience with reactive dogs, working breeds, and puppies. I am always happy to stick to training routines as much as possible. In addition to normal routines, I also like to make sure that your pets are having fun! I love long walks, playing fetch, tug-of-war, and am happy to go to dog parks on request. If your dog loves to go on adventures, we can certainly go for hikes as well!

Magdalena was great to work with! She got along great with Kota and was a huge help in adapting to our rapidly changing schedule while house sitting. She made sure our pup was well taken care of, and gave us updates on her progress throughout the stay. Would definitely book her again!
Magdalena was awesome with my two puppies! (10 months & 2 months). She kept me in the loop of what was going on and sent pictures, would highly recommend!
Magdalena was absolutely wonderful with my pups all under 2 years old sent pictures and updates on them and the house was perfect even watered the plants
I had Magdalena watch my 2 dogs (1.5 year old and 5 month old) for a week while away on business. We did a meet and greet the Friday before and my dogs immediately took to her. I was originally worried about the older one because he can be selective in who he likes. But they did absolutely loved her. She house sat in my home for the week and even bathed them so they were fresh and clean when I got home! She did an amazing job and always kept me updated on how they were doing! I highly recommend this sweet girl and will absolutely be requesting her services in the future when I need it! Thank you again for making me at ease while away knowing my fur babies were in good hands!

I will give your pets the same love and care as I do my own. I am meticulous about following instructions, both at my house and yours. I maintain clean spaces and have the utmost respect for other people’s homes. When I watch your pets at your home, my best practice is to simply leave no trace. I stay as close to the normal routine as possible when staying at your home and do my best to do the same at mine. When your pet is at my house, they will be the only pet here. I do not let cats outside and I keep dogs on a leash at all times when outside. Again, I maintain meticulous standards of safety and care. Your pet will always be treated like my pet, no matter where they stay.

A typical day
I love taking dogs on walks, playing fetch, and am happy to work on teaching them tricks or continuing training programs with them while you are away. If your dog loves to go to the park and gets along well with other dogs, I will be happy to take them out!

Availability
I work full-time Monday through Friday, but am able to check on pets throughout the day, especially if the house is close to downtown. I am free to spend as much time as possible with your pets on weekends, which is when I love to go on super long walks and play lots of fetch! I practice detailed communication with all of my clients about my schedule to figure out the best options that work for everyone in ensuring the best care possible. I prioritize your pet’s care in my routines always.
