Hello! My name is Maegan and I am 25 years old. I am an animal care professional and certified dog trainer. I have experience with dog of all ages, sizes, breeds, and temperaments. I’m originally from North Carolina where I managed a large pet care facility, and offered group and private training. I also have experience caring for animals with medications or special needs. My personal dog is a 6 year old border collie lab mix named Phoebe. She loves the beach, long walks, and tug of war! Happy to answer any questions and I am looking forward to getting to know you and your fur baby!

I have a large fenced in back yard, plenty of room to run and play. My roomate and I both have a back ground I’m animal care, and we both have dogs (Phoebe and Casper). It is very important to have a meet & greet evaluation to ensure a safe and happy Introduction if our dogs were to ever Interact or share a space. I am certified in a force free and proactive approach to managing off leash group play between dogs. I believe in incorporating good manners and a balance between play and rest.

The more information the better! Please provide basic information such as feeding schedule, medications, bathroom schedule, etc. Let me know if your dog struggles with anything behaviorally, if your dog is triggered by anything (such as squirrels or other dogs). I keep all notes in a google drive folder, all notes and tips help me to provide the best individualized care possible!
A typical day
I can provide a combination of mental and physical exercise. Enrichments, games, toys, back yard play, and walks. I am also happy to arrange special visits to the beach or hiking trails if requested!

Availability
I currently do not have any schedule restrictions, and can provide round the clock care. Beginning May 10th my work schedule will be the following: Mon: 11am-5pm, Tues: off, Wed: off, Thurs: 11am-7:30pm, Friday: 8am - 4:00pm, Sat: 12-5pm, Sun: 12-5pm.
