Welcome to Our Pawsome Family!

Pet care experience

My pets’ health and safety are my #1 priority which includes giving oral and topical medication. Bathing, teeth brushing, hair brushing, as well as nail trimming are all important in keeping both dog and human healthy and clean. What is also just as important is exercise in the mind and of the body. We enjoy long walks wether it be around the block a few times, at the park, or on a trail. My families, friends, and neighbors have dogs whom I have had the honor to care for since 2010. They relied on me to feed, bathe, nail trim, brush, brushing of the teeth, give medication, and walk their pets. I grew up with dogs in my family and now I have my own family with dogs. (Peep - my dogs are spoiled brats.) While your pet is in our care, s/he is a part of our family as well. **currently only accepting small dogs as my partner does not feel comfortable with larger dogs; sorry for the inconvenience**

Mae did such a wonderful job with my boys that they did not want to come back home. Very personable and fast responses. Would definitely book again! ?

Mae and her husband are amazing and their dogs are so sweet. They took amazing care of them and left me feeling very comfortable withe the care they gave my pups, excellent communication and even pics along the way. Also very accommodating to last minute changes. We can’t wait to see them again!

Safety, trust & environment

In our home, our #1 rule is respect each other. My dogs are hyper greeters but after settling down, everyone just chills. There is always clean water available throughout the day and at nighttime. There are plenty of spots to sunbathe and hide. Titus and Cleopatra are crate trained and sleep in it at nighttime. They are crated when I am not home. Our front yard is fenced but not big enough to play. Feces are picked up immediately so everyone is healthy and clean. My neighbors we all look out for one another and we know whose dog(s) belong to who. In your home, I will treat your belongings and family members with respect and well mannerism. I will only do what is asked and nothing less, nothing more. I will update you on every activity that goes on.

Information Mae V. would like to know about your pet

I would like to know what your pet’s temperament is and if s/he walks well on leash. I am also willing to accommodate to your pet’s special needs or schedule/routine. Any known allergies?

A typical day

We enjoy long walks wether it be around the block a few times, at a park, on a trail, or along the lakefront. Sometimes we may go to my sister’s house to play with her three dogs in their spacious, fenced yard. Lots of toys to fight over one, treats enough to go around unlimited times, and I’ve got two hands and feet free to give butt scratches and belly rubs. We go out to potty every 1-3 hours and always supervised. The dogs hate taking photos but with treats in one hand and camera on the other, I’d like to consider myself a great dog photographer and you bet you’ll get a peek of the best shots!
