Or a dog lady for that matter. If I could surround myself with as many adorable, furry friends as possible, I’d be the happiest person alive. Animals bring us joy and reminds us to be less self-involved because as much as they are cuddly and cute, pets also require dedication, commitment, and sacrifice. Growing up with all sorts of animals helped me learn many important life lessons, and now I can share my knowledge and enthusiasm with this work. I volunteered with a dog rescue for three years. I also have over 4 years of professional customer service experience, so I will always go above and beyond to make sure you and your pup are completely satisfied. I’m currently a fur mom to one awesome cat, but unfortunately I’m not able to have more than him right now. I love this furball, but I really miss being around dogs. Shh, please don’t tell the Kitto. I’ve always had a natural ease around dogs and cats, and you can rest assured your pup will be treated not like a client, but rather one of my family members. Every dog is unique with his or her own personality and cute quirks, and I love the process of discovering each and every one! This isn’t about checking boxes off a list. I truly want to relish the quality time I get to share with dogs, especially since I am unable to have one in my life at this time. You get total peace of mind that your beloved pet is in capable, loving hands, and I get to have a dog vicariously for a while. I call that a win-win situation. When I’m not working or hanging out with animals, I enjoy the outdoors and staying active. I’d love nothing more than to go on some hikes or runs around parks with a dog by my side––you can’t really put a leash on a cat. I’m super reliable, respectful, and punctual, so you can always count on me to be there as promised. Dogs need routine and structure to feel safe and relaxed, so I always strive to be consistent and full of positive energy. Nothing beats the pure affection and energy of a happy dog. Being around animals have always had a therapeutic effect on me, so being there for your pup feels more like self-care than work. I work most Wednesday through Sunday evenings, so I am not typically available for evening visits. My day schedule is relatively flexible and if I have to be at my other job, I plan accordingly.
