Seven Years Pet Care Experience
Pet care experience
Hello, fellow animal lovers! 🐶 Check out my new rover instagram! 👉🏾 @allmyroverfriends 🐈 I am so excited to care for your pet(s). My family dogs included a large border-collie lab mix rescue, and two miniature tea-cup Yorkshire terriers. I also rode horses growing up, had a hedgehog, guinea pig, and begged my mom for a cat. Dogs were my first love but all animals hold a very special place in my heart. 👩🏾A Little Bit About Me: - I began my journey with Rover about six years ago, but I have been caring for all sorts of animals for awhile now. - I am from Illinois, and am a recent graduate of Colorado State University (Go Rams!!) - Birdwatching is one of my favorite outside activities! - I am one of four adoptees in a family of 8! - Along with dogs, my family also had a pet rose haired spider named Rosie - I just moved from Fort Collins to Denver this past July! - I am a social worker, and love it! I work from home which gives me the flexibility to still be on rover 🤍Previous clients of mine have enjoyed my patience with their pet, my natural ability to love them, my attentiveness to their detailed instructions, flexibility, quick responsiveness, careful updating, and reliability. Being able to ensure your pup receives all of the exercise, play time, attention, and nurturing has also been noted. 📲 I make sure to offer at least two updates per day. Around 10am and 6pm is when I like to reach out to owners with a text & picture update. 🏠 Home Stay - on my profile it says I stay at client’s homes full time. My home is in my service range so if that is not necessary, please let me know! My goal is to make you and your pets feel comfortable. 🍀Price is calculated to cover all expenses acquired during stay, please do not feel obligated to tip. Tips are not expected but always appreciated. :) 🐶 In the future I can not wait to adopt my own pet, but in the meantime, I'll have fun so much looking after yours as if they were mine! 📖 The Booking Process with Mae 1. Mae was so wonderful watching our dogs and house sitting. Gave daily updates and gave us reassurance that our doggos were doing just fine without us, napping and sun bathing the days away.
I would absolutely recommend Mae to anyone. She was super communicative and took excellent care of our high maintenance pitty. We got lots of pictures and updates throughout the four days and the house was just as we'd left it. Plus she drew the cutest picture of our pup that will have a permanent spot on our fridge!! Thanks, Mae!
When I meet Mae at our meet and greet she seemed so sweet and professional, I felt really comfortable with her taking care of my dogs at my home while we were gone on vacation. Where I live we have coyotes and they will jump fences and attack dogs even kill them. It happened recently to one of my neighbors so I decided to keep my dogs inside while we were gone for my peace of mind while I was away. I told Mae about this and to keep them inside for their safety. I didn’t show Mae where the leashes or harness were located. The first 2 days went fine. Mae did her daily updates in the morning and evening. On the 3rd day she took one of my dogs out for a walk. I saw her leaving and I texted her to please bring my dog back home. I told her she didn’t have permission to walk my dog and I reminded her I wanted my dogs to stay inside. Mae did not respond well to this. She immediately had attitude, talking to make sure I can hear her on my cameras outside my house saying I need to chill out. She then proceeded to stand in front of the camera outside and started dancing snd saying things to make me upset. I didn’t trust Mae anymore. My husband and I agreed to have her leave. We called her and told her to gather her things, lock the door and leave the key. She did not do this. She left our home leaving the garage door open. And nothing locked. She just left. She said we lived in a nice neighborhood and she did it so our new dog sitter could get in. That wasn’t for her do decide after we asked her to lock the house. Do not hire Mae, she cannot follow care guidelines or care about the safety of your pet or home.
This was our second time having Mae stay at our place. She is very good with the dogs and the cats and is very responsive. Would definitely recommend.

A typical day
? I love taking walks wherever the dog feels comfortable, but I also love to bring them to new places for the sake of mental & physical stimulation. My current favorite place to walk dogs is in Washington Park. I live close by and often go myself, hoping to catch a few pups I can stop to pet :) ? My rover care includes a goody bag of dog items to make sure everything is taken care of. Some items that I always bring with me include a slow feeder, poop scooper, poop bags, a kong, dog brush, carpet cleaner, litter box scooper, heart healthy natural buffalo treats (from Whole Foods), and a few toys.
