Pet care experience
I was previously the Owner-Operator of a 6000+ sq. ft. Doggy Daycare & Boarding facility with over 170 tail-waggin’ clients where we were the 1st Licensed Doggy Daycare & Boarding Facility and the only facility to receive an Endorsement by Cowlitz County Animal Control for humane practices. I’m a lifelong dog lover and petting enthusiast. I’m a full-time Mom and Small Business Owner looking to help strengthen the bonds between dogs and the people who love them! I’m an active walker, hiker, biker, jogger, and comfy couch snuggler. I’ve been playing with and caring for dogs of all ages, abilities, temperaments, needs, and sizes for over 20 years. In addition to offering an individualized high-standard of care- I’m comfortable offering medication administration, bathing, nail trims, and basic obedience training.
Reviews
I cannot even begin to tell you how fantastic Mae was with our boy! We were traveling through town and needed a (unexpected) dog day care. Mae was so gracious in letting Scottie join her crew for two days, but still made sure to do a thorough check before letting him just show up! If I lived in Vancouver, she would be my go-to doggie day care. She sent updates and photos and Scottie was so excited to go back (I've never seen him THAT excited for daycare). 11/10 service and love!
Mae was excellent! She took care of my pups like they were her own! We will be back!
Our pup had a great time! Mae was very communicative and took care to accommodate us with short notice and make Brioche feel comfortable and welcome! We would certainly use her again for boarding.
MAE IS FANTASTIC! She was super flexible with my last-minute changes and was so sweet. Could not be more excited and confident to finally have some in my area to watch and train my dog

Information Mae J. would like to know about your pet
Has your dog ever stayed in a doggy daycare and boarding facility before? If so, what was that experience like? How do they behave in your home and when visiting new places? Does your pup have positive experiences and regular exposure to other dogs of varying sizes, kids, and cats? Does your dog kennel contently at home? We also like to know… Feeding schedules, special needs, previous injuries, medications, likes and dislikes, behaviors that would be helpful to know, anything you would like help working on, house rules from home (ex: no dog on the coach/sofa) that you would like honored while they’re in our care. We require screenshots of veterinary records showing that your pup is up-to-date on their: • Distemper • Parvovirus • Leptospirosis • Bordetella • Rabies It’s also important that your dog be taking monthly medication for flea, tick, and parasite protection.
A typical day
We will walk, jog, bike, hike, work on recall and basic obedience, snuggle, roll around, play fetch, and have a blast in the backyard- whatever your dog needs to be their happiest and most fulfilled self is what we’re prepared to offer! We use crates and kennels for naps & rest time between play sessions, for feeding times, and at night to ensure safety and quality sleep for both our family, as well as for your fuzzy family member.
