We have used Madisyn in the past to houses it and Be with our dogs in the evenings and stay over night. Unfortunately for us, I feel she is probably better for drop in visits. She has other priorities that seemed to have more control of the time she can spend with our dogs. After leaving at 5:30 pm, she came home to our house at 2 am and left at 6 am. So not really spring time with our dogs. We had a similar issue with her the last time where she had her friends pick her up in the late afternoon and she stayed out until 3am. The first time we felt we could overlook it, but we now see there is a pattern. We really like Madisyn, but when we are out of town and have to deal with her not doing her job, to us, that is unprofessional and a breach of the contract. For this last visit after it happened I had to let her go and find a new pet sitter for the remainder of our trip. I didn’t want my dogs to be alone so much for the next week. After her not providing the service we requested and she knows we expect (from past visits), she still charged me a $220 cancellation fee even after she modified the reservation on her end to show we cut it short. So not only did I have to quickly find and pay for a new sitter, I had to pay her for not doing the job we contracted her to perform.

We just finished our first experience Madisyn house/dog sitting for us and it went great. Our young dog Sutton is very high energy and a bit of a handful and she took great care of him. Her love for dogs is very evident by how well trained her two dogs are, and they became great friends with our dog over the week. We look forward to using her again in the future next time we have to travel without him. Dave and Georgia and Sutton
