Hi there! I have provided care for many furry friends, volunteered at local shelters, and worked in an animal spa. All of these experiences have taught me the proper way to care for animals. It’s important to always be confident and calm around animals so that they feel secure. During my time volunteering at local animal shelters, I learned how to handle “difficult” animals. For example, knowing how to adjust my body language around a timid animal. During my time at an animal spa, I worked with several vet techs that taught me proper procedures for how to hold animals and how to handle an animal having a seizure. I’m confident in what I have learned. I believe in life long learning, so I am always up for a new experience!
