Pet care experience
I have been around and caring for animals all of my life. I’ve taken care of horses, dogs, cats, birds, small rodents, and many other animals. Working at several different horse barns has given me a lot of experience with horses, people, and dogs. Dogs are a large part of the horse world and I have provided first aid to both horses and dogs whenever it was needed. I have taken pre-vet courses and I am currently pursing my undergraduate degree in General Biology. I have many references that I can provide if requested. I am willing to travel and stay at your home if it is necessary and take care of more than just one dog. If there are any other animals in the house I can also help care for them.

I have experience working at Dogtopia which is a dog boarding facility with 100+ dogs everyday. Working there provided me a great amount of experience with dogs of all different personalities and sizes. I will be sure to go over the pets normal behaviors with the owner to ensure they are happy and stress free when I stay with them!
Information Madison W. would like to know about your pet
One piece of information that would be helpful is if there is any history of aggression. This is so i can keep the dog safe and other dogs safe. If the pet doesn’t like a particular noise like storms or sirens this would be good to know to help keep the dog calm. If the dog doesn’t like people wearing hats or any other article of clothing this would also be good to know!
A typical day
We will go around the dogs home and if the dog travels well we can go on trails nearby. I will ensure to do an activity like throwing a ball or tug of war often to keep the dog entertained. I enjoy working on basic training with dogs if the owner would like including sit/stay/lay down and shake! I love to walk on the greenway and also around ecu campus.

I am currently taking two summer courses online so I am available Monday-Friday any time. Weekends my availability varies but I am extremely flexible and willing to work with you!
