Pet care experience
I’ve had dogs, cats, and rabbits my whole life. Currently, I help my roommate take care of her dog (a pit bull). Growing up I’ve helped my family take care of many dogs including a blue heeler, Pomeranian-poodle, golden doodle, mini golden doodle, husky mix, deerhound, Newfoundland, and poodle. I also had a Maine coon cat and a checkered giant and an American lip rabbit.

Maddie is the best dog walker I’ve ever had! She is great at communicating with me, and she is an all-star at encouraging my pup to walk. Maddie also sends super cute photos of my pup having fun on his walks, which is definitely an added plus. :)
She is super caring with my dog, Bo! She has watched him many times before and he loves her very much. She’s great with walks and making sure the dog feels loved and safe!

A typical day
Depending on the dog, I can take them on long walks, take them on hikes in the DMV, take them for car rides, and play with them. For social dogs, I like taking them on walks around GW’s campus or the national mall. For less social dogs, there are a few parks in West End that are usually empty during the day.

I’m currently a college student and I am currently taking 4 classes and have a flexible, remote internship. My schedule is very flexible and I currently live in Foggy Bottom.
