Pet care experience
Hello, I’ve been caring for pets in a house sitting capacity for over ten years. I’ve worked with every animal you could think of: birds, donkeys, horses, chicken, hamsters, and most traditional house pets. I’ve trained many animals including horses and dogs, and incorporate positive reinforcement and praise into any and every activity we do, even when we are simply around the house. I watch for behaviors that suggest stress, and address them, to leave your Loves more comfortable. Having worked in animal shelter and long term pet sitting environments, I’ve learned the necessary steps to being consistent with medications, as well as irregular symptoms to keep a close eye on. I am experienced with more skilled medications performed by veterinarians such as medications given by injection (insulin, vaccinations and drawing blood for testing being just a few). I have my own furry and feather Loves in my home, and being able to leave them with someone trusted is the only way I can leave, there’s no other way I can! I aim to provide that to others.

Jax can be anxious at times so we are grateful Madison is understanding and helps him to acclimate at his own pace. Madison was super sweet. My cat got injured in the few hours I didn’t schedule her and when she came back she handled it swiftly and efficiently. She always kept me in the loop and always asked what I wanted or needed. Absolutely amazing! Thank you again!
Madison was awesome from the start. Very communicative, open and friendly. We did a trial for one night to see how our puppies would do and they did great. Gave us comfort knowing they were in great hands during our week long vacation. Madison sent us updates and pictures as well as videos. It was refreshing knowing we had no worries. She was great with puppies and they got along with her dog and cat. Not only did we have a great experience but so did our babies. Highly recommend Madison. My home is very close to two dog parks, so I’m walking my own dog daily to these parks! A tired dog is a happy dog. I also have a large fenced area that I use, they can bark and run and exercise any extra energy.

A typical day
You can expect for your fur children to be pretty active while in my care! I take many walks, hikes and dog park trips. For older or more arthritic types, I take gentle strolls, paying attention to when we need to turn back. I strive to meet the needs of those that are in my care. Socializing, positive reinforcement with toys, treats, games and releasing some energy are all steps to a worn out and happy pup.
