Pet care experience
I have a bachelor's degree in Animal Science and have worked professionally in the veterinary industry for over 4 years. My dog Koda and I fostered over 50 dogs and cats and through that process adopted our most recent additions Mambo and Whisper. I have reputable experience in dog handling and behavior with a focus on bully, shepherd, and husky breeds when I was with the rescue. However, we fostered and loved them all big & small!

Madison is one of the few (I'm talking less than you can count on one hand) people that I would trust to care for my animals. Having someone knowledge of animal care (veterinary and otherwise) and behavioral management is not something you come across every day, and gives me the confidence that no matter what happens, she'll be able to handle anything that might happen. Her passion and love of animals makes every animal feel at ease (I'm convinced she's an animal whisperer) and has helped her win over even the grouchiest of animals. I couldn't recommend anyone more to be a pet sitter.
Madison has watched our pack of 3 dogs and 2 cats (plus the occasional foster animal) countless times and has always exceeded our expectations. She takes great care of our animals - she’s even won over one of our dogs who is wary of new people. She treats our animals as if they were her own and her background in animal rescue certainly shows in her compassion and approach to taking care of our pack. We always know our animals are in great hands when they’re with Madison.

I am fairly versed in dog behavior so you be assured on walks your dog would well protected. I'm comfortable with reactivity on leash and dogs who may not be fond of other dogs. I'm also very confident around cats, my own is shy at first so I'm used to having to earn trust. I'm comfortable giving most medications orally and SQ (mostly for diabetic animals).

A typical day
I like to hear what the animal prefers to do! So of my clients love long walks, some love short walks and more cuddles, and some just like hanging in the backyard. I’m happy to accommodate all play styles.
