Pet care experience
I grew up with family dogs and I’ve always helped care for them. I absolutely adore dogs of all shapes, sizes, and breeds. I have experience with both large and small dogs of all ages. Friends, family, neighbors, and clients have relied on me for years to walk and care for their furry babies. I have extensive experience with dog walking, check-ins, and overnight visits. I’m very active and love being outdoors. I’d love to help get your furry babies out for exercise, take care of them when you go out of town, or just stop by for a check-in while you’re away! Being a dog owner my whole life, I completely understand the need for some extra help at times. Can’t wait to meet your sweet pups! I also have experience caring for cats, horses, reptiles, and small mammals. If you are in need of care for any critter, dog or not, I am happy to help! I grew up caring for cats, dogs, and all manner of pets, and I’m very comfortable around all animals.

Madison was fantastic and saved the day. My work day went awry and I wasn’t going to have time to exercise my very high energy dog. I had reached out to Madison very last minute and she had responded to my request very quickly. About 2 hours later she came by to took my dog for an hour walk. I’m very thankful she was available to help me on such short notice and I know dog had a great time with her too. I’ll 100% reach out to Madison again in the future. Thank you Madison!

I take care to provide safe and respectful care to dogs while I am in a client's home. I want to know what rules you have for your dog, and any security measures I should pay attention to at your home. Each client is different, so I like to note individual rules, procedures, and desires prior to my visit so that I can provide the best, most personalized care possible. Dogs are always leashed before leaving the house. Before my departure, I will usually check a dog's water bowl, do a quick glance around to ensure nothing looks out of place or unsafe for the dog, and double check the lock when I leave.

I enjoy spending time with dogs of all breeds. Before I get to care for your pup, I would like to know their general temperament and if they get along with other dogs/other animals, if they have any special needs, and their general energy levels.
A typical day
Your pup can expect a nice walk around the neighborhood and/or playtime at home. I'm very active, so if your dog is particularly high-energy and likes to run, let me know and I'll wear my running shoes!

Availability
I'm a grad student at CSU, but only spend a couple days on campus and my schedule is pretty flexible. Most of my time is spent here in Fort Collins hanging out with my dog Dakota.
