I have a 9 year old black lab named Dirk whom I love dearly. I grew up with dogs my entire life and I rescued Dirk when he was about a year old. We've been best buds ever since! He loves other dogs and I don't think he's met another pup he didn't like. When housesitting dogs, I always make sure to get them out for walks, visits to the park, and lots of love! I ensure treat other dogs that stay with me as I would want someone to treat Dirk while petsitting him! I would love to host your pup while you're away on vacation or as drop ins during the day. You can be assured he or she is in great hands! I work from home currently so I am able to give lots of love and attention to the dogs I care for, including my own. I'm a runner so I typically wake up early and take the dogs out for a walk (or run if they're up for it!) and ensure they get lots of walks and love throughout the day. I love being active outside so whenever possible I bring my dog with me and would do the same for yours. I live in an apartment like most New Yorkers so while the space is smaller, I make sure to take them out for walks several times per day. I also love to snuggle with them and make sure to play and love on them so they know they are cared for while their owner is away. When I first meet a dog, I am gentle and prefer to ease into the relationship in order to build trust between us.
