Animal Lovers Who Really Care

Pet care experience

Pet Care Experience Since we were both young, we have been taking care of a variety of animals such as dogs, cats, rabbits, chickens, horses, reptiles, fish, and small mammals. The thing that sets us apart is our dedication to getting to know your pet and forming a bond with them, as well as earning their trust. We also have a passion for learning, and love to educate ourselves on animal behavior and the best pet care techniques. Our free time is often spent learning about animals we haven’t yet cared for. We have one dog and two cats, all of whom are well accustomed to other animals and have no issues with new dogs. We also have a rabbit who has her own space away from other pets. Your dog’s time with us will be enriching, loving, and safe. We do live in an apartment, so we go on lots of walks and have a dog park at the complex that we love to go to!

Madison and Marissa were fantastic and would certainly work with them in the future. They took such good care, of our two (sometimes needy pups), and we were at ease our entire trip. Madison and Marissa provide regular updates, fun photos, and were super responsive. And, our pups loved hanging out with their pup, Georgia! Thank you again!!

Madison and Marissa were able to accommodate our last minute spring break request. They were very professional and accommodating. Communication was prompt and continuous throughout their week long stay as well as leading up to it. We came home to a clean house and a happy pup!

there’s a lot to say about this amazing team. i had an emergency while i was in alaska. my trip got extended because for family reasons & i needed another sitter almost immediately because this other amazing sitter fulfilled her duties and this was during thanksgiving. they came to my aid that night and did the most amazing job with my boys. they are kind of special needs dogs so it was an amazing pair. they loved them they sent me updates about their special needs and i couldn’t be more happier. definitely recommend and definitely will use again in the future. thank you so much for everything!!!

Safety, trust & environment

Safety & Environment We live in an apartment, so for boarding we cannot accept destructive dogs or dogs that bark often. All dogs must also be crate trained, as they will be in a crate for feeding, when we leave our home, and possibly overnight depending on your dog's temperament. Being "crate trained" by our standards means tolerating a crate for an extended period of time without being loud or destructive. Providing your own crate is not required. You can expect your pets to be treated like our own while in our care! They will become a part of our family. We feed our animals in the morning and at night, and let them out to go potty multiple times throughout the day. Please let us know your dog's energy levels and we will do our best to accommodate! We include a 30 minute walk a day in our house-sits and boardings, and can add extra walks for an additional cost as well. We would love to do a meet and greet at least 3 days prior to the booking in order to ensure we are the best fit for you, as well as getting to know your pet's routine. For all of our services, please make sure to include an emergency contact and vet information in your instructions before booking! If you would be interested in coming home to a fresh, clean house after your trip, we do offer home cleanings as well. It is our day job so we are very experienced. Ask us for more information and we would love to give you an estimate!

Information Madison & Marissa M. would like to know about your pet

For boarding we cannot accept dog or cat aggressive dogs, as we have both in the home. Please bring any food or water dishes, food, harnesses, and leashes that your dog may have, as well as any toys they may have an attachment to! If your dog has a harness please send it along, we prefer to attach our dog seatbelts to those rather than their collars if we have to take them in the car!

A typical day

We feed our animals in the morning and at night, and let our dogs our to go potty several times a day. Since we live in an apartment, we love to bring our dog to the dog park at our complex to exercise! There’s always plenty of dogs to play with. When house sitting, we try to find a dog park in your area or spend time outside in your yard if you have one! When inside, we use toys, puzzles, and treats to keep your dog mentally stimulated. We like to make sure all of our dogs are all tuckered out by the time we are ready to wind down for the night. It makes our lives easier, and their lives more enriched!

Schedule We work from 8:45am-3pm Monday-Friday. You can expect your dog to be fed, pottied, and loved on before we leave for work in the morning! After work we will return home to care for your pets and make sure they get all the attention they need. NOTE: Our rates do not include constant care. This means we will come and go (from our home or yours) the same way we would with our own pets. Constant care is charged by the hour, and is rarely available because of our work schedule. If this is something you need, please message us and we can discuss details.
