I live in a small home in Mars Hill, NC, which includes a fenced area in the yard perfect for dogs to run around and play fetch if they're so inclined. I work mainly from home (farming and pet sitting), and am always seeking some extra animal companions! I have no animals of my own and only host animals from one household at a time. I live with my partner, Joe, who is also a big animal lover, especially when it comes to dogs! I moved to Western North Carolina in 2019 and have really enjoyed getting to know the area, its people, and of course, its furry friends! I grew up in a household with cats and dogs and am willing to care for any pet you have in your home (only excluding large farm animals at this point, thanks!) So far, I have taken care of dogs, cats, fish, guinea pigs, chickens, turtles, and goats. I also love taking care of plants! I am active and love to get more steps in my day, but walking and running is always better with a four-legged companion. I love running and hiking with dogs that love to go on adventures. Aside from making sure I give your dog frequent potty breaks and attention throughout the day, I also do yoga and meditate daily and find that just practicing in the same room as a high energy or anxious pet can help keep them calm! Pet massages are also part of the package, if they seem interested! I also have a good attention to detail and can handle complex feeding and care instructions.
