(vaccinated) I Grew up with very energetic dogs and puppies. I’ve been working for Rover and other families for a many years now. I have years of experience caring for difficult, small, and large dogs. I’m a medical school student and PhD candidate. So, during the week, I’m usually available before 8AM and after 6PM, and I am free on the weekends. I have constant breaks in between classes, so if I’m doing daycare, I can make frequent visits back to your pup. I love all dogs old and young. I grew up taking care of 3 Aussies and other large dogs for months at a time, including a puppy, middle aged extremely energetic dog, and a very very old Australian shepherd. I am very health conscious and like to maintain social distance with non-canine companions. I treasure having dogs in my life and would love to watch your pup!

Madison was so patient with our nervous pup! Madison’s calm energy suited our anxious pup.
Another sitter canceled very last minute before our trip, and Madison was able to coordinate taking care of Nelly last minute. Nelly is nervous meeting new people and loved Madison. Nelly also has separation anxiety and is reactive, but Madison was very patient, understanding, and loving to Nelly. Hope to have her take care of Nelly again soon!
Madison was awesome with our high energy ball of fur. Great communication the entire time and tons of pics of their fun time together. Will definitely be reaching out to her for future adventures!

I’d like to know your dog’s habits, temperament, preferences for play, comfort levels with other people, dogs, areas, etc. I like to know what your dog eats, likes to do for fun, what your dog doesn’t like, and anything else that might make your pup have a happier stay.
A typical day
A typical weekend day might look like a morning walk in the park for a few hours. Then maybe going to meet a friend at the park where we will sit outside chatting and giving our dog friend a lot of attention and pets. Depending on the dog, I might take them to the dog park, a hike, or just more walks.

Availability
I love to walk dogs in the early morning before I head into class class or lab. I also have most late afternoons free and am flexible. If doing daycare or boarding, I can make frequent visits back to your pup because I have breaks in between all of my classes. There is a fenced in dog park on campus, and space to go on walks and sit outside.
