Responsible & Reliable Animal-Lover
Pet care experience
I grew up with dogs and had both the responsibility and privilege of taking care of them (feeding, walking, playing, (etc.). Additionally, I adopted a cat 3 years ago who I take care of daily, so I have experience with both dogs and cats. I have been relied upon to feed, walk, and play with various animals throughout my life, and I am confident that I can be there for you and your special buddy(s):) I have experience administering oral medications to dogs and, though I have no previous experience, I am fairly confident that, if given instruction, I can administer injected medications to dogs and cats (if friendly).

Mochi’s new best friend
Madison is already one of my favorite sitters! She took such great care of our cat and was extremely thorough and detailed in her communications. I am so impressed! Will absolutely book again.
Madison was amazing! She took great care of my dog Blue. She was great at communicating, she sent me updates, photos/videos playing and having fun with Blue. I definitely recommend her.
Madison took great care of my finicky cat and communicated everything!

I cannot offer services in my home, as my landlord does not allow it. I would have to come to you! I am always respectful of others’ spaces and never fail to leave a space exactly how I found it. I will always clean any toys or messes made by me and your pet playing!

Information Madison H. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know if your pet has any special needs, triggers/anxieties, particular quirks, and/or a history of aggression. I am absolutely comfortable and willing to accommodate the first three aforementioned conditions, however, I do not accept bookings with aggressive animals. I know that it can be inconvenient when you have an aggressive animal, because they may not be aggressive at all times, but animals with even occasional aggressive tendencies are best cared for by boarders/vets who have the ability to keep both your pet, and themselves, safe. Please understand and respect that this is both in the best interest of your pet, and in the best interest of myself and my own personal safety (this applies for any and all other sitter(s) that you contact)<3
A typical day
Dogs: I LOVE to play fetch, give lots of pets, and run around with puppers! I love to walk just about anywhere, and I walk fairly fast (given the fact that I am an athlete and love to get a workout in while walking your dog (which they love, FYI)). Obviously, if they are an older/senior dog I take it slower; I always follow the dog's lead in terms of energy! Additionally, I allow lots of time for sniffs, as it has been found to be extremely healthy for dogs' development and overall wellbeing. I do my best to adhere to the comfort level of the dog and give them engagement, comfort, stimulation, and love; I don't often come across dogs who were rescued and have past trauma that makes them scared of specific/particular things (ex. people walking at them and such), however, I do have some experience with these dogs and have the ability to make them feel comforted and safe if given a heads-up beforehand. Additionally, I will talk to your dog in a baby-voice (conveniently, you wont be around to get annoyed by it) and act like a hyper puppy playmate to make them have the best, most fun time that they can while their beloved owner(s) is/are away. Cats: I very much follow the lead for kitties! I know that cats can have very diverse and distinct personalities, and can get very stressed when away from their owners; therefore, I try to make them feel as comfortable as possible. I will always attempt to play with them but, if they seem scared or avoidant, I will follow their lead and simply sit on the floor after completing my tasks. This allows them to assert their dominance by sitting on an elevated surface and feeling more in-control of the situation, while still providing company/human presence (not to toot-my-own-horn, but I have often gotten even the most avoidant cats to let me pet them by the end of my visit(s)):). I love to give kitties treats (if allowed to do so by owners), and talk to them a lot to give them lots of engagement (meowing back is also something I do often... sounds weird but cat owners definitely feel me on that one --or maybe I'm just weird). Tldr; I follow the comfort level of the cat and try my best to give them engagement, comfort, stimulation, and love.
