Hi there! I have my settings set so that I’ll only ever have 2 dogs at my house - so your pet will get individualized attention at my Oakland home with a fenced in yard. *Important* The upstairs neighbor has a super friendly and goofy collie that roams freely throughout the property, shares the yard and has often drops in for visits so your dog MUST be good with other pups! My family’s jack russel/chihuahua here when I’m dog sitting, but he sometimes stays as well. I've been so lucky to be entrusted with so many familys' beloved pets and luxury homes around the Bay Area! The reviews on Rover don't even scratch the surface - message me and I will send you a list of references for other house and pet sitting relationships I've created beyond Rover. I'm so fortunate to have 100% returning clients for my house and pet sitting services and am more than happy to put you in touch with references! Because I work from home, I make all the time I can to be outside and I love new hiking adventures. My yoga teacher strength will help me keep hold of even the most rambunctious full-sized Great Dane (true story). I will be respectful of your space, understand your deep connection to your pet and always be punctual and reliable. Not to mention, I love photographing pets so I will do my best to send you frequent insta-worthy updates! And if you made it this far in my bio and all the way through my photos... yes that is in fact me as a baby, obsessed with dogs even before I could walk!

Madison was wonderfully communicative, sent plenty of photos/videos and her dog was super gracious and kind to mine. I appreciated how she was willing to come to my home for a meet and greet in a space where my dog was comfortable. She was also very flexible with pick up/drop off times.
Madison was so flexible and understanding about drop-off and pick-up timing. My dog was completely wiped out from so many fun activities when I picked her up from Madison! She loved the freedom to hang out in the yard and clearly was given a lot of attention. Madison was also great about texting photo updates throughout the day. Thank you!
Madison did a great job. Took our chocolate lab out for daily hikes, which he loved! She sent lovely photos of him out and about and being a weirdo at home. She even connected with our shy cat and made her a friend! Provided good updates to us. No worries about our fur babies. Left the house clean. Highly recommend. We’ll be using her services again!
I have seen firsthand how responsible and loving Madison is towards ALL animals. She is always walking and playing with the dogs that she is sitting, and always has the pet's best interest in mind. I had a dog growing up that had some behavioral issues when it came to interaction with other dogs. Let me know if this is a concern, and I'll know exactly how to deal with it. But due to the upstairs dog who visits at her will, your pet MUST be cool with other dogs. No aggressive and territorial behavior will be tolerated.
A typical day
Long neighborhood walks and parks are my forte! I absolutely love being outside so I guarantee your pet and I will get along. While working from home I like to keep my front door open and the dogs love napping in the sun and exploring the fenced-in backyard at their will. Plus, it makes potty breaks always accessible and super easy.

I work from home and love spending time outside so your pup will get lots of individualized attention and walks, hikes and outside adventures. I do take 2-3 art classes per week, so your pup must be okay with being solo for 2-3 hours without barking or destructive behavior. My favorite outdoor spots to take the pups are the Albany Bulb, Tilden, Wildcat Canyon, Point Isabel dog park, and around the neighborhood for fresh air and long walks. I’ve also taken adventurous dogs to Stinson, Point Reyes and other Northern California iconic day trips! You can always expect two walks, park visits, or outside adventures per day minimum.
