We're back for select days and occasions! We have added drop-in visits to our services; standard rates for dogs and cats, but we can do farm animals too for an additional fee. I have loved animals for my whole life. While growing up, my family and I fostered dogs-- caring for those dogs became a big responsibility of mine starting at a young age. From then on, I was dog-sitting part-time in other people's homes--but in 2017, I decided that caring for dogs in my home was the direction I was supposed to go. The dogs I've taken care of have been on a wide spectrum of breeds--ranging from Maltese to Staffies to Newfoundlands. I've also taken care of elderly dogs who needed medicine administered daily. My goal is that my house will become an extension of your dog's home and they won't miss you quite as much while you're gone. I live in a home with an adequately-sized fenced in yard. I try to keep the house as cage-free as possible, but please let me know if you prefer for your dog to be crated while sleeping, for afternoon naps, etc. My husband and I work as a team and usually in shifts. Please inform me of any behavioral issues your dog may have--as I have dogs of my own and may be watching more than one dog at a time. My dogs are two AKC Golden Retrievers who have night and day personalities. Ariel is an old-soul and is content snoozing away in the sun or snuggled up on a pillow. Achilles is a rambunctious, happy boy who loves toys and pretending to be small enough to sit on your lap. I also have two cats who are used to dogs, but if your dog has issues with cats, please let me know. For your dog's stay with me, I need proof of up-to-date vaccinations from your veterinary's office. This is necessary to make sure my dogs and all other dogs are safe in my care. You will also need to bring your own dog food and feeding instructions. Please bring your dog's crate if you'd like your dog to stay in one--for if I have to run a quick errand or during bedtime. Lastly, if your dog requires a medications, please bring those as well. I am EXTREMELY flexible, so don't ever worry about bothering me with unusual drop off or pick up times. I'm also able to watch dogs on most holidays. To recap, I LOVE dogs of all kinds and am happy and willing to watch yours while you're away. Expect to receive pictures of your pooch once a day!
