Ive got to spend my days getting outdoors with wonderful dogs, taking advantage of spending my days on the trails in beautiful BC. Along the way I’ve met many amazing pets while getting to expand my experience doing what I love! I also had been working along side a local trainer before taking on pet care full time, working with them to expand my handling skills as well as adding new tools to my tool belt to work with all sorts of dogs with different temperaments. While I’m my care all handling is R+, and force free! *I am certified in Pet FIRST AID and CPR* And have my “dog trainer foundations certification” from the Karen Pryor Academy! I have had the pleasure to own many family dogs throughout my life, a variety of different breeds like herding breeds, terriers, bully breeds, and total mixes! also have had many cats over the years. I currently have 1 playful boston terrier, “Bellman” and I have some cats. I also have another puppy coming home soon! My dog and I spend all our time hiking and training for dog sports like agility, flyball, Rally obedience and scent work. Throughout my time dog walking/pet sitting and volunteering with all sorts of animals, I’ve been fortunate to gain experience with a wide range of breeds, including high drive breeds such as herding breeds, spaniels, terriers and more! Including XS-XXL breeds. I pride myself on my wide rage of experience and ability to adapt my care to all kinds of dogs and cats with all different temperaments. I’ve worked with high energy dogs, young puppies that still require training. As well as lovely senior dogs that are deaf and/or vision impaired or just need a little more patience and care. Also specialize in cats that may not enjoy strangers! I am passionate about dog training, I find every experience is a training opportunity. Even if it’s something small. Since training is my lifestyle, any training plan you have will be closely followed and incorporated in our time together!
