Pet care experience
I have been caring for my own dogs and other dogs since I was 10 years old. I have a lot of experience with dogs ranging from large to small breeds. I don't just intend to provide care for your dog but I would also like to give them joy while you have to be away from them. I spend a lot of time at local shelters walking dogs and playing with them because every animal should have a companion! I have given care to dogs at San Antonio Pet's Alive center and also the Humane Society. Through this I have also learned some dog sign language to communicate with dogs who are deaf. I think one of the most important things about caring for dogs is understanding the uniqueness of each dog. I pride myself on learning these particular things about any dog that I care for. I believe this is what sets me a part from others.

I would like to know their disposition, how they greet strangers and also what is their demeanor like with other dogs/people. I would like to know if there are any particular activities they enjoy or any places you may take them often. Also I would like to know if they must always be on a leash or if they are the type of dog that can roam free without a leash and will not run away. Also I would like to know what type of training they have or if there are any special commands that you have taught them. I would also like to know if you allow your dog to eat table food (human food), or only dog mix. Finally, I would like to know any other special accommodations or quirks your dog may have.
A typical day
I would go on walks through the neighborhood. If the owner is comfortable with me taking their dog in my car, I would love to take them to local parks in San Antonio such as Brackenridge Park, Hemisphere Park, or Tom Slick Dog Park. There are many dog parks in San Antonio and I believe any of them would be a great experience for any dog who is friendly enough. I know there are also a lot of places in San Antonio and downtown that host dog friendly restaurants, so that may also be a fun activity for your dog, if it was something you are interested in.
