Pet care experience
I have a 1 yr old golden retriever and have been dog sitting for years. I’m very responsible and take pet care seriously. I work from home and love going on walks and runs so if your dog is high energy, I am happy to spoil it with plenty of exercise. I live close to hiking trails, the beach, and dog parks. The safety of your dog, other dogs, and people is absolutely the most important thing to me. I am comfortable handling large and small dogs on a leash, no matter what their leash manners are. I have trained rescue dogs in the past that have had a variety of quirks and habits.

I like to know what sort of energy level, potty and eating habits your dog has. I also like to know if there are any specific habits I should note (not friendly with other dogs? escape artist? protective of toys/food?) I do not have any breed preferences, I have ample experience caring for dogs big and small and I love them all! I appreciate transparency on your pet's leash manners, and other basic training/habits. I do require that all adult dogs be potty trained if I am boarding in my home. If I am boarding a puppy I would appreciate it if potty pads would be provided.
A typical day
I live close to many great areas to walk and run, including the bike path, green belt, the Redondo dog park. I love taking dogs to these areas to get their energy out and have some fun!
