Hi! My name is Maddy Beem, I'm 23 years old, and I live in CT. I am very aware of how much a dog means to its owner. I have always had at least one dog growing up in Connecticut. My two eldest family dogs, both Soft-coated Wheaten Terriers, recently passed away due to old age-- one was 15 and the other 13. My youngest dog, a Morkie, lives at home with me in Connecticut, he is 9! I walk, feed, play, cuddle, and care for my Morkie, just as much as I did for my past two dogs. I am open to any questions you may have about my experience and/or your dog's needs. I am also more than willing to send updates and cute pictures of your pup :)

Great sitter for Cooper! Took him on a hike each day and cared for him with love. Excited to have Maddy watch him regularly.
Maddy is my youngest daughter, and she grew up in a house full of dogs! We are a huge dog-loving family, and I think her favorite 'people' to come home to were the dogs! I believe she feels an attachment to animals, especially dogs. She is very patient and calm and I believe she gets as much from the dogs as she gives them. She has also helped neighbors take care of their dogs during vacations.

I would like to know if your dog is friendly with other dogs, and if it's okay for other people to pet him/her. Walking around Charleston, people are always asking to pet your dog, and I know some owners have a preference for those situations. In addition, it's good to know if your dog is able to approach another dog walking by, without any fights. It's okay if your dog is not friendly with other dogs, it happens, but it's always a good idea to be informed about those things.
A typical day
There are many places to walk dogs around Charleston, so there should be no problem finding a good place for your dog to run around and play! I am open to suggested places as well, if you have a preference.
