I have been taking care of pets since I was in high school, when my neighbors would hire me to come by their homes to feed and play with their pets while they were away. I also have experience caring for my own pets - everything from a dog to a hedgehog!

I have a fenced yard and space to keep your pet. I do have children who are very respectful of animals and their space. While staying with me, your dog will be part of the family! We frequently go on long walks through our quiet neighborhood and love playing in the backyard, whether that’s fetch or running around together to let out energy. With the pet parents approval, I also enjoy giving lick mats/kongs as a fun indoor activity. Your dog will also get to spend some down time with us hanging out and getting cuddles and pets while we read or watch TV. I do require all dogs to be crated if I have to leave the house and at night. Please do not request a booking if this is not okay with you.

How is your dog around children? Do they have any triggers, anxiety, or reactivity? What is your dog’s daily routine like? Is your dog crate trained? If your dog is over 40lbs — do they pull hard on the leash or jump up on people? (I am petite and don’t feel comfortable with strong pulling or jumping in large breeds)

I am a stay at home mom, and my husband works from home, so I have great flexibility and can be available at almost any time. I only board one pet at a time, so my focus is all on yours! I am also only 15 minutes from the airport which makes drop offs and pickups convenient.
